Transitional Tudor Remodel

Berkeley, CA

  • Year Built: 2021

The owners wanted to modernize their home while keeping the Tudor exterior.

Featuring Kitchen and Bathroom remodeling and a new roof deck.

Remodeled the Kitchen, which now features much more storage and counter space. Also opened the Kitchen to the Dining Room via a peninsula with seating

    • Relocated the Powder Room, which previously blocked views and travel through the home, to the back of the Garage and relocated the Laundry

    • Reconfigured and remodeled the Primary Bathroom

    • Updated the family Bathroom with new tile and fixtures

    • At an upper Bedroom, created a waterproof deck over the Garage, which required an Administrative Use Permit due to height above grade

      • Raised the roof and deck surface to accommodate the new Powder Room below
