Nestor Agpoon - Design Associate
Nestor has loved drawing since childhood and was inspired by his brother to pursue architecture. Licensed in the Philippines and a member of the United Architects of the Philippines, he worked there and in Singapore before moving to the U.S. in 2000. Since 2005, Nestor has been a Design Associate at Levitch, contributing to every project stage—from property measurements and code research to drafting, 3D renderings, and construction documents. His experience spans homes, schools, parks, and playgrounds.
Outside work, he enjoys pen-and-ink drawing, watercolor painting, and music, including guitar, songwriting, singing, and recording.

Geneva Anderson - Design Associate
Geneva grew up in Bozeman, Montana, gaining early construction experience through family remodeling projects led by her engineer father. She studied architecture at Montana State University and earned her M. Arch from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).
With a music performance background, Geneva explores design theory connections between architecture and music, emphasizing hands-on making. After working three years with Levitch in design and estimating, Geneva returned in 2023 as a Design Associate.
In her free time, she plays clarinet and baritone saxophone, roller skates, enjoys outdoor activities, and is eager to return to woodworking projects.

Elizabeth Brown - Relationship & Project Manager
Fascinated with connections between nature, design and comfort, Elizabeth developed her passion for architecture through early shelter experiences ranging from camping to watching construction. Her career spans architecture, energy efficiency and business and consumer services, with expertise in sales, marketing, program management, and green building. Elizabeth rejoined Levitch in 2017 as our Relationship and Project Manager after five years as our Assistant Project Manager. She manages new and ongoing projects, communications, and loves seeing work evolve from concept to completion. Elizabeth holds a B.A. from Connecticut College and a Construction Management Certificate from Cal State East Bay.
Outside work, she enjoys creative pursuits, reading, and traveling.

Steve Coons - Project Manager
Steve grew up on a small farm in Kansas. He moved to California where he began his journey as a carpentry apprentice, then eventually started his own business as a licensed general contractor. He joined our team in 2025 bringing his patience and experiences with him. He loves the challenges and contrast of each day as a Project Manager.
In his free time, Steve’s devotes his love for design and building to his passion projects. -

Rickey DeLima - Finish Carpenter
Rickey is a Bay area native and had been a painter before joining Levitch. He has worked with Levitch for over 15 years as a painter, driver and now as a finish carpenter.
Outside work, Rickey enjoys riding his motorcycle on local day trips.

Erick Figueroa - Estimator
Erick grew up around construction through his family's Northern California property investments, spending weekends on improvements like windows, roofing and electrical work. With family members in the business, a building career was natural. His experience includes property and construction management and estimating. Erick joined Levitch in 2022 as our Estimator, handling projects from schematic design through final pricing. He earned a B.A. from UC Santa Barbara and is pursuing Construction Management certification.
Having emigrated from Mexico, in his free time Erick helps tradespeople with education while enjoying coaching, wrestling and hiking.

Sinisa Jankovic - Finish Carpenter
As a youth Sinisa liked sculpture and working with wood. Those interests and experience along with building shelving for a family business helped him to get started in carpentry. When he moved to New York City from the former Yugoslavia, he worked as a carpenter in a cabinet shop. He continued with carpentry when he relocated to California, and has worked with Levitch since 2002 as finish carpenter and cabinet maker.

Brian Levitch - Project Administrator
Following family tradition, Brian Levitch began working for Levitch Associates during high school. After attending Chabot College and Boise State University, he returned to the Bay Area as a licensed Emergency Medical Technician before joining grandfather Ed and uncle Maurice in the family business. As Project Administrator, Brian handles construction contracts, change orders, inspection scheduling and much more.
Outside work, he enjoys trips with wife Jasmin and their son, volunteers as Assistant Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts, and making music. Brian has been a multi-instrumentalist since the 1990s with music available on Spotify, Apple Music, and all streaming services!

Frankie Levitch - Yard Manager
Frankie has been supervising daily activities at the Levitch yard, shop and office since 2018. A skilled and empathetic communicator, he directs staff with authority while connecting with his team for quality individual time that may involve petting and purring. Frankie has a passion for culinary delights and in his spare time enjoys hunting, grooming and napping.

Maurice Levitch, AIA - President
Maurice Levitch has been involved in the family business since age 11, working as a truck driver, laborer, and carpenter. He earned his general contracting license before finishing at UC Berkeley’s College of Environmental Design and became a licensed architect in 1991.
As President of Levitch Associates, he leads design, project management, and operations. Maurice champions sustainable building, with award-winning green projects and community outreach. He serves as a Safety Assessment Program Evaluator, is NARI-certified, and active in Boy Scouts.
Living in the East Bay with his family, he enjoys restoring vintage vehicles, including his 1964 MGB.

Marcial Mendoza - Carpenter
Marcial came to the U.S. from Guatemala in 2007. He worked as a cook and forklift driver before transitioning to construction in 2016 when a friend invited him to work with him as a carpenter. Marcial joined Levitch in 2019, where he hopes to continue building his skills and stay long-term.
In his free time, Marcial likes to spend time with his kids and family. He enjoys walking, being outside and playing soccer, one of his favorite sports.

Martin Mendoza - Carpenter
Martin was born and went to school in the little town of Todos Santos, Guatemala. Before moving to the U.S., he trained on the job as a roofer. Martin started at Levitch in the late ’90s doing excavation, and after a few years began to learn carpentry. He’s been with us as a carpenter since 2001. Martin likes to get to know people and have people get to know more about him.
Off the job, his favorite thing is playing in the park with his four children.

Diana Montoya Webber - Design Office Manager
As a child Diana loved models, leading to studies in industrial engineering and architecture. In Venezuela, she co-founded an architecture firm specializing in high-end residential, hospitality and commercial projects. Diana came to the U.S. to study English, stayed after meeting her husband, and lived in England before returning in 2016. She joined Levitch as Design Associate in 2019, becoming Design Office Manager in 2023. A Certified Green Building Professional, Diana handles projects from schematic design through construction documents and does interior design.
She enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, yoga, and traveling—especially combining music with travel.

Kanta Morinaga - Design Associate
Kanta grew up in the South Bay of Los Angeles. As a child, he enjoyed making forts that brought the massive adult world down to a scale that made more sense for him and his sister. Since then, Kanta has earned a B.A. in Architecture from UC Berkeley. He has continued studying, designing, and building a a range of uniquely customized spaces including residential and commercial remodels, new construction, and shipping container conversions. Kanta joined Levitch in 2021 as a Design Associate, and is involved throughout the design process.
In his free time, Kanta enjoys spending time outside skateboarding, bicycling, and admiring various landscapes of the Bay Area and beyond.

Ryan Ortiz - Senior Design Associate
Ryan grew up in San Francisco and the Philippines. Prior to joining Levitch in 2025, he worked on high-end residential and commercial projects. Ryan enjoys both the design process and analyzing the technical constructibility of his projects. One of his favorite aspects of working with Levitch is that he can be more in tune with clients and the construction process.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys watching sports and shows, and bike riding with friends.

Vuk Pavićević - Consulting Project Manager
Vuk grew up in Bosnia and moved to the U.S. with his family in 1999. Since his youth, he has enjoyed figuring out how to build and repair things, so an education in the building arts was a natural next step.
Vuk holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and is a licensed architect as well as a NARI Certified Remodeling Project Manager. He had hands-on experience helping to design and renovate several homes and knew he wanted to continue working in the field. He has been with Levitch since 2013 as a Project Manager, helping to keep our construction jobs running smoothly.
Vuk loves to travel and has visited Central and South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. He also enjoys rebuilding cars in his spare time.

Alvaro Pablo - Carpenter
Alvaro is originally from Guatemala and started working at Levitch in 2019. Wood framing and window installation are his favorite parts of his work.
Outside of his job, Alvaro enjoys playing and watching soccer, and going running.

Edvin Sergio Pablo Calmo - Carpenter
Edvin Sergio grew up in Guatemala and began working at Levitch as a Carpenter in 2024. He enjoys the wood framing and plywood installation phases of the work.
Off the job, Edvin Sergio values spending quality time with his family.

Hilario Pablo Calmo - Carpenter
Originally from Guatemala, Hilario moved to California and began working at Levitch in 2022. He enjoys the wood framing phase of construction and spending time with his coworkers while doing it.
Outside work, Hilario can often be found exercising, either running or the gym.

Ramiro Pablo Calmo - Carpenter
From Todos Santos in Guatemala, Ramiro is Martin’s nephew. Following in the family footsteps, he has always worked in construction, building mostly in brick and concrete in Guatemala. After coming to the U.S. Ramiro began learning carpentry at Levitch Associates, and has been with the company since 2012. He always likes learning new construction skills, whether it is woodworking or painting. Outside of work, Ramiro enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his wife and daughters.

Octavio Padilla - Carpenter
Octavio grew up in Jalisco, Mexico and joined Levitch in 2022 as a Carpenter. Working with the Levitch team is one of his favorite parts about his job.
Octavio is often watching or playing basketball in his free time.

Alejandro Perez Perez - Carpenter
Alejandro grew up in Cancun, Mexico before he started working at Levitch in 2022. He enjoys doing a little bit of everything at his job, especially in partnership with his coworkers.
Alejandro loves spending quality time with his friends and family outside of work.

Rowan Ruddle - Project Manager
With a grandfather who's an architect and another with a back yard full of models, Rowan has been surrounded by architecture since childhood. He came from Santa Cruz to attend UC Berkeley, where he earned a B.A. in Architecture. Rowan joined Levitch initially as an Intern in 2023 and worked his way up to being a Project Manager, a role that puts his calm nature, coordination and follow-up skills to good use.
Rowan has many passions outside of work including sailing, photography and gardening, and he loves experiencing new things.

Juan Antonio Salinas - Driver
Juan Antonio was born and raised in El Salvador before moving to the Bay area with his family. He started working at Levitch in 2018, specializing in concrete and rebar construction, and is now our Driver.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing and watching soccer, fishing, and especially spending time with his family.

Jose Sanchez - Carpenter
Jose was born in Michoacán, Mexico and got his training in Oakland before beginning as a laborer on area job sites. He has worked his way up in the construction industry since the early 2000s, and has been a carpenter at Levitch since 2016.
Outside work, Jose might be at the gym, barbecuing in the park or watching movies with his three daughters.

Cesar Sanchez-Olmedo - Finish Carpenter
Cesar joined the Levitch team in 2005, moving up the ranks to become one of our Finish Carpenters. His favorite part of the job is seeing the final products of his work.
In his free time, Cesar loves watching soccer games.

Saul Sanchez-Olmedo - Superintendent
Saul was born in Jalisco, Mexico, and took classes in California to learn about the construction industry. He has always worked in construction, working as a lead at other companies before finding his way to Levitch. At Levitch since 2004, Saul has been a lead carpenter and superintendent. He says one of his unique skills is knowing exactly what type of fire extinguisher to use in any situation!
At home, Saul enjoys woodworking and fixing tools in his garage.

Amanda Sieu - Junior Design Associate
Amanda grew up in Berkeley and is Cambodian American. She is bilingual and speaks Khmer with her family at home. She joined Levitch in 2025 after earning her B.A. in Architecture with a minor in City Planning from UC Berkeley. Her interest in architecture began during a high school mini house building project, in which she designed a model complete with lighting, a fireplace, and detailed furnishings! Since then, she has continued to explore her creativity in residential design.
Amanda brings curiosity, optimism, and a fresh perspective to the team as she continues to grow in both field and office environments.Outside of work, she enjoys running, playing pickleball, going to concerts, and exploring new restaurants with friends.

Jeanette Sozanski - Office Manager
With a background in finance and administration along with an interest in architecture, Jeanette joined Levitch in 2025 as our Office Manager. She uses her experience to help keep our office running smoothly. Having grown up in El Cerrito and attended an all-women's college, Jeanette is an advocate for strong women's voices.
Outside of her 9 to 5, you will typically find Jeanette in the dance studio covered in sparkles that may travel with her, cafe hopping, or hiking with her dog.

Ngodup Tsering - Painter
Ngodup is a Tibetan refugee who grew up in India. He joined Levitch in 2002, bringing his client relations skills and previous experience to his role as our Painter. He enjoys conversing with his clients and coworkers.
Outside of work, Ngodup translates his empathy into volunteering at his local community center.

Manuel Valentin - Foreman
Manny was born in the small town of Jalisco, Mexico, and came to the U.S. when he was 7. After graduating from Berkeley High School, he worked at a nursery and in landscaping and carpentry.
Manuel puts his many years of experience with the company (since 1993!) to good use as a Foreman.
When he’s not on the job, Manuel loves to be out camping in nature, boating on any body of water, even water skiing! He also enjoys restoring old houses and classic cars and listening to music.
