2025 TOP 500 - Qualified Remodeler Magazine

Qualified Remodeler magazine has recognized Levitch Associates, Inc. for consistently outstanding performance and service, placing the firm among the nation’s Top 500 remodeling companies for a remarkable 17 years. This distinction reflects Levitch’s commitment to excellence and leadership in the remodeling industry.

Levitch Associates is one of fewer than 15 firms nationwide to have earned this distinction. The application included an extensive third-party review of Levitch’s operations, processes and financials from early conversations with potential clients through architecture, construction and service. While NARI has since sunsetted the Accredited Remodeling Company program, Levitch is proud of this honor.

NARI, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, equips remodelers with resources to succeed and build trust with consumers for “Remodeling Done Right” (TM).

  • Levitch Associates acquired its Green Business Certification in 2009.

    The California Green Business Network leads the state and nation in working with small to medium-sized businesses to create a vibrant green economy. Led by a coalition of cities and counties, they contribute by helping to make our communities healthier and more livable while also conserving resources and saving money.

  • 17 years, Top 500 Remodelers List (2017-2024, 2004-2011)
    Staff at Qualified Remodeler magazine compared Levitch’s performance and services with those of other remodeling firms across the country, and have awarded Levitch Associates, Inc. a place in the Top 500 list of remodeling firms.

  • Eight years, Best of Houzz award for Service (2024, 2018-22, 2015-2016)

  • Levitch's complete remodel of Oakland's Arizmendi Bakery Lakeshore won the Best Commercial Interior award! We earned this award from NARI (the National Association of the Remodeling Industry) in their annual Remmy/BARA recognition of "excellence in remodeling in the Bay Area".

    Entries were judged blind by industry experts, who scored submissions on problem-solving, functionality of the solution, innovation, craftsmanship, aesthetics, degree of difficulty and the entry presentation itself.

    Nearly overwhelmed by its success, the bakery was bursting at the seams in baking, service and customer areas

    • Within the same footprint, Levitch worked closely with the owners, a cooperative, to create a plan to reorganize and reconfigure all spaces for better work and traffic flow.

    • To allow for funding over time as well as intense periods of construction during scheduled bakery closures, many over national holidays, the work occurred in three phases from back to front of house.

    Learn more about the bakery, a member of the Arizmendi/Cheese Board cooperative, and their daily selection of pastries, breads and pizza. They also offer seasonal and holiday treats.

  • 2015-16
