Colorful Sussex St. Kitchen and Powder Room San Francisco, CA Back to Projects OverviewGalleryProject DetailsRelated Projects Overview Colorful and locally sourced materials infuse vibrance into this remodeled San Francisco Kitchen and Powder Room. Gallery ProcessCompleted Project Project Details Location: San Francisco, CAYear Built: 2013 This project consists of a Kitchen and Powder Room remodel, with a four-foot addition to the existing Kitchen. By opening the previously cramped Kitchen to the Living/Dining Room, we create a more open floor plan and appealing space. The L-shaped Kitchen features recessed and undercabinet LED lighting, white Shaker-style cabinets, and an island with an induction cooktop. Both the counter and island tops are manufactured quartz. The vibrant backsplash is comprised of multiple shades of green tile from Heath Ceramics. The Kitchen table in the images is made from wooden bleachers salvaged from the renovation of U.C. Berkeley Memorial Stadium. In the Powder Room, we incorporate clerestory windows that bring in light while maintaining privacy.
