treetop Home Remodel

Berkeley, CA

  • Year Built: 2018

    This remodel reconfigured the floor plan to group sleeping areas on one side and living spaces on the other side of this home for better flow and function.

    • Soft colors inside offset the new deck, perched like a treehouse amid the branches of surrounding trees.

    • We relocated the Kitchen from the interior to an outer corner while making it larger.

    • It connects to a new deck that enjoys shade from mature trees.

    • To the inside, the Kitchen opens to the Dining and Living areas for a seamless flow.

    • The relocated Bathroom features a shower with variegated blue tile, a double vanity and stacked Laundry machines.

    • A Bedroom now inhabits the old Kitchen area.
