Improve flow in the living areas while maintaining distinct Kitchen, Dining and Living spaces. Levitch also adds a first floor Powder Room and guest closet.
The Owners wanted to improve the flow of their home and make entertaining easier. Levitch allows each living area to be individually fun, light, and moody.
Levitch remodeled Kitchen, meeting the Owners’ requests for ample storage and a separate buffet counter. The newly remodeled space is light and easier to navigate.
We created new openings between the Kitchen, Living Room and Dining Room to improve circulation.
There originally was no bathroom on the first floor, but Levitch also reworked the space to create a new Powder Room and Guest Closet.

“Maurice and his team are nothing short of incredible. The quality of their work was exceptional down to the finest details, but you would expect nothing less from a third-generation master builder. What distinguishes them, however, is how easy/fun they were to work with.
Communication: Maurice adapts his working style to yours.
Commitment to deadlines: The project was delivered ahead of schedule. How often do you hear that?! None of the horror stories you hear about. To achieve this, we had a great working relationship identifying dependencies and getting out ahead of selections like large lead times.
BuilderTrend: They use software called BuilderTrend to manage the calendar, store photographs on site throughout the build, and detail change requests. For two working adults, this eliminated a ton of anxiety about not being able to be on site every day.
Rock-star factor: It would seem everyone in the East Bay knows Maurice. When you visit a tile shop, they roll out the red carpet for you and brew tea. We had a problem with a plumbing fixture, and the vendor drove immediately to the job site to rectify it.
We love the work that was done. It feels like our home, and we get to enjoy it every day. But how much cooler that we actually got to enjoy the process of getting there…cannot wait to call Maurice for the next project!”
