Upslope in the Air

This residence on a sloping site was in need of a foundation replacement. It was also ready for various other renovations including developing the lowest floor, a Kitchen expansion, and a Bedroom addition.

• By slightly lifting the residence in combination with some excavating, we add two Bedrooms and a Bathroom to the lower floor.
• We expand the Kitchen to the rear at grade where we were able to add skylights as the space extends beyond the floor above.
• We create a new Bedroom at the rear top floor level by combining an addition with changes to the existing floor plan.
