Small Deck with a Large View

This deck needed restoration due to the old railing not meeting the current code in height or baluster spacing.

• Levitch maintains the horizontal design of the original railing to respect the existing architectural style.
• We use a welded railing structure that also acts as a wall cap to protect the wall on which it rests from water infiltration.
• Cable rails and a painted wood cap complete the new railing.
• A Bison leveling system with Ipe wood tiles creates the walking surface over the waterproof deck below, allowing for a picture-perfect view. The layout of the tiles complements the adjacent walkway tile.
