Gallery ProcessCompleted Project Project Details Location: Berkeley, CA Natural light is a key characteristic of this open Kitchen remodel. Features include: IKEA cabinet boxes with hand-painted white Shaker-style doors, a farmhouse sink, ceramic subway tile backsplash, soapstone counters, stainless steel appliances, light hardwood floors, and a pantry. Salvaged wood covers the structural beam. The island serves as a multi-purpose space, with its proximity to main appliances, the under-mount stainless steel sink, and bar seating. The Laundry area and Powder Room were also part of the remodel. Both were designed to make the most of a compact space.
