Project Details

Location: San Francisco, CA

Year Built: 2012

New to this home, our clients wanted to open the Living Room to the Kitchen. Their goal was to connect the Kitchen with the previously built Sun Room addition at the rear.

  • Our solution included lowering the grade of the rear yard by 2 feet to allow direct access to the yard.
  • We also raised the old Sun Room roof to match the ceiling of the main space. Although this project is in San Francisco where space is at a premium, the renewed Kitchen and Living areas feel open, bright and unified.
  • The Kitchen includes a Dining Nook and LED colored accent lighting at the cabinets and shelving.
