Project Details

Location: Berkeley, CA

This remodel features an open Eating-Kitchen-Living area while maintaining a formal Dining Room, as well as a Bathroom upgrade.

Eating-Kitchen-Living Area

  • The newly remodeled Kitchen offers the opportunity for easy movement and flow throughout the space.
  • The installation of the wooden countertop at the stool seating area ties in with the wood features of the floors, and butcher block at the island.
  • With the new layout of the Kitchen to the Dining Room, Living Room, and more casual eating area off of the Kitchen, the home becomes more dynamic. Allowing the owners to move from one space to the other with ease, and not the stress of opening up many doors.
  • The formal Dining Room showcases mustard walls above white wainscoting to balance the space.

Bathroom

  • A customized transom over the Bathroom door brings in borrowed light while maintaining privacy.
  • The bathroom also features a floating toilet and baby blue walls.
